All competitors for the 2006 Canadian Bodybuilding Championships must qualify through their provincial championships to be eligible. Eligible competitors are as follows:
- Any competitor that has won the overall title at their provincial championships receives a lifetime bye to compete at Nationals.
- Any competitor that has won their weight class shall be eligible to compete in the next two, following CBBF National events.
- Any competitor that has placed 2nd or 3rd in their weight class shall be eligible to compete in the next, following CBBF National event.
- Any competitor who places in the top 5 within the aforementioned timeframe, at a CBBF event, shall be eligible to compete at the next two, following CBBF National events.
- Any competitor who wins an overall title or weight class at a CBBF National event, receives a lifetime bye to compete at Nationals.
Qualifications may vary for provinces. Please check with your provincial president to confirm your eligibility.
