 Information for Fitness Athletes

Dr. Rafael Santonja, President of the IFBB has formally notified our office that at the 2011 Pan Am Games, being held in Guadalajara, Mexico from October 11 to 13, 2011 a competition for Fitness athletes has been provided, for potential inclusion as a competitive sport at the future Games.

Two athletes from select countries, under the IFBB banner have been invited to compete.

We will invite the winner of the short and tall classes from the 2011 CBBF Bikini, Figure, Fitness and Elite Male Bodybuilding Championships, being held in Saskatoon, Sask, on July 23, 2011.

Athletes will need to cover their own travel expenses, the Pan Am Games organizing committee will house and feed the athletes.
The CBBF will provide a Team Canada jacket.

If the winner of the overall fitness decides to attain their IFBB Professional League card prior to the Pan Am Games, we would then invite the second place finisher from the overall winner's class.

As more information is provided we will either post or discuss with the athletes following the selection.

Good luck to all athletes in the upcoming CBBF national event, the promoter Harvey Viteychuk will once again provide an outstanding event.
